Anonymous asked: What steps should a young aspiring graphic designer take in order to someday be able to fully rely on his skill as his bread earner?
I have asked that same question several years ago and can confidently tell you the more work you do, the better you will become. Create a portfolio, fill it with your best work and start looking for an internship somewhere. I learned more from my 6 month internship than I did from a half dozen design classes I took at school. Getting your hands dirty in a real design environment will, without a doubt, propel your design career and make you more valuable to prospective employers. May the snarf be with you.
